Oliver Watson is responsible for the day-to-day running of Riverford Farm in Devon and the Riverford dairy. The dairy was founded in 1988 and produces around 14,000 litres of milk a week along with other products such as clotted cream, double cream and yoghurt. The dairy herd lives on the farm and is an integral part of how the Devon farm is managed. Their nutritious manure is used for the vegetables, the vegetable fields’ soil can recover while it is used as pasture and the cows eat any vegetables that can’t be used in the boxes.
